We Chinese are extremely fascinated with the word “Forever”, which provide us with the steady and stable feelings.
For jobs, parents would like us to have a stable job, such as city servant, teacher, or a position in state-owned company. As the majority of the parents held the strong belief that as long as this country is in a peace, your job won’t be taken away, which means you won’t have any problem in living.
Does “Forever” really exist? Who knows.
